COMMENTS:

Most of this play is spent discovering why the character is going from here to there – which left me wondering why I got from there to here.

POST-FRINGE PREDICTIONS:

Although Toby Wherry’s one-man performance is very strong, those looking for the next Thom Pain will have to keep searching.

I'm not sure if I agree with this rating. The serious thought that an actor takes to make choices is huge. I've always been taught that even the smallest action can get you noticed or become your signature move. I believe that this play highlights that and it shouldn't be taken for granted.

I totally diagree the play deserved a 1. I personally didn't get it and was having trouble staying at all focused.

I saw this show and have been looking for reviews of it on the web. I thought it was one of the best theater pieces I've ever seen. The simple premise, simple staging and excellent performance yielded a really provocative take on what it is we're all really living for. Wherry's writing is superb. I hope this writer/actor gets a nod from somewhere on his talents. I'll be awaiting his next project.
