VENUE: Mazer Theatre
GENRE: Play (Comedy)
AIR CONDITIONED: Yes

RATING (0-4): 0

RATING SCALE:

0 Run, don’t walk, away from this disaster
1 Proceed with caution
2 Mild summer fare
3 More than just hype
4 Don’t miss this one its FRINGE-tastic!

COMMENTS:

A lofty (albeit somewhat clever) idea to write a comedic play about current politics in East Orange, NJ centering on a Mayor who re-writes the lyrics to popular show tunes to describe the political situation of the moment. Unfortunately, it fails.

POST-FRINGE PREDICTIONS:

I agree. I love Sondheim and I was disapointed by this Musical. I thought it would be my favorite of the fringe, but I was wrong.
